Practice Accountant – Sligo (Hybrid)

A well-established, partner-led accountancy practice with a strong reputation for excellence in audit, tax, and advisory services is expanding its team in Sligo. Due to continued organic growth—driven by exceptional service and a dynamic leadership team—the firm is seeking a practice accountant / qualified auditor to join its growing audit division.
With a leading client portfolio from Donegal to Cork, the firm offers a flexible hybrid work model, a clear career progression path, and a supportive culture that values your time and development. You'll work closely with experienced managers and directors, gaining exposure to a variety of sectors and clients, including international businesses operating in Ireland.
The Role

Take ownership of audits from planning through to completion

Collaborate directly with managers and directors on client strategy and delivery

Work with high-quality clients, including Irish SMEs and international firms

Contribute to maintaining and enhancing strong client relationships

Review junior staff work and provide coaching and constructive feedback
What You Bring
-
ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Irish accountancy practice

Solid understanding of audit planning, execution, and reporting

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and mentor junior staff
