You will start off as Tax Assistant Manager and move to Manager at a pace that suits you and your ability (expectation would be circa 9–12 months).

💥 As a Tax Assistant Manager – Private Clients you will:

• Cover the full private-client remit — Income Tax, CGT, CAT, estate planning, entering & leaving Ireland, investment tax, Revenue enquiries
• Run your own assignments end-to-end — planning, drafting advisory memos with a clear rationale, briefing juniors, and presenting finished work to Partners
• Work directly with the Tax Partners and Directors on some of Ireland's most interesting private clients — successful business owners, families, and professional practices

💥 You'll be someone who….

• is CTA qualified with ACA / ACCA qualification 
• newly qualified up to 3 years tax PQE, ideally from a Top 10 or Top 20 firm — or a Big 4 Assistant Manager who wants a broader client book and a faster Partner pathway
• is genuinely interested in advisory work across multiple tax heads rather than narrow specialism
• is ready to lead juniors on assignments and is motivated to move to Manager within a year

A leading Irish owned eight partner led firm, covering audit, accountancy and tax is seeking to grow their audit team with the addition of a qualified practice accountant / Audit Senior to their North Dublin offices.                        We are looking for a senior accountant/supervisor. The person would need to have extensive experience of the irish/local environment. Would need good all round practice knowledge and ideally English should be his/her first language.

Main duties would include. (or at least cover some of them)

1. Review accounts prepared by staff and discuss the main points with the partner
2. Attend/Lead client meetings for accounts
3. Review final packs to ensure files are correct and to ensure Docs for signing are correct
4. Assist junior staff with queries
5. Focus on improving timeliness in the work schedule, and help bridge the gap between starting and finishing work.
6. Look for more innovative solutions in how we do things. Help push change in technology.
7. Work closely with partners and undertake any work they can pass down

For the role below, we probably want 5  to 6 years experience. That said, we may have to compromise somewhat due to the general lack of availability.

While this chap is looking for more accts/general practice experience, we need someone who can kick on fairly quickly rather than someone who will need time/training.
